Águas de Março (Waters of March)

This work is part of a series in which I explore Brazilian identity by translating musical compositions into visual artworks. Created as a tribute to Tom Jobim, the piece incorporates symbolic elements referenced in Águas de Março: a stick, a stone, the end of the road, a frog, a fishhook, and Matinta Pereira—a mythical figure from Brazilian folklore.

The falling drops are represented as musical notes, visually translating the song's rhythm and poetry.Through these elements, the work seeks to bridge music and visual art, transforming sound, memory, and cultural references into a symbolic and immersive visual narrative.
